In order to prove Dave that he has no intention to cover up his brother, JR agrees to let Ramon undergo a paraffin test in line with Dave’s ambush. Fortunately, Ramon was able to wash the gun shot residue off his hands before the test, thus resulting to his instant release. Upon his return to their hideout, Ramon finds Stan pleading for his discharge from their group; but as expected, the leader of the group disapproves of this request, thus leaving the kid with no other choice but to tip the group to the authorities.
