I can't believe that the writers kill the character of Audrey here. I was disappointed. I cried so much because of Ge & Kim's performance in this episode;(They proved to one and all that KIMERALD can outshine even the brightest star!) but I cried more, knowing that Audrey is gone. In this story, Audrey and Jr has a short-lived romance; mas mahaba pa ang sufferings nilang dalawa. Kasing haba ng sufferings and pain ng mga televeiwers!
ABS CBN, tell me...do we deserve such a cruel ending? Hu..hu..hu

nakakasakit ng dibdib what a superb performance from jr good job! i like this ending dahil realistic. mataas talaga ang mortality ng ganitong cases ng pregnancy and heart valve insufficiencies. i congratulate the writers and how brave they are to go against the wishes of the viewers, at least, they did not pursue the storyline haka-haka about dave dies and gives heart etc....but because pinatay nila si audrey, abscbn owes the viewers another kimerald teleserye ASAP! xoxoprmc,ca

kung talagang gugustuhin ng writers eh hindi ginawang complicated ang pregnancy ni audrey, para maging happy naman for once sila jr and audrey.sobra na nga ang pasakit na dinanas ni audrey hindi man lang nila pinaligaya.

at least naging consistent ang mga writers. kasi from the very beginning ayaw ni audrey ng magulo, gusto niya tahimik lang and hindi niya maipaglaban ang pagmamahalan nila ni jr... up to the end hindi pa din nya maipaglaban si jr, alam niya delikado ang buhay niya pero tinuloy pa din ang pregnancy, kung mahal niya talaga si jr, siya na mismo ang nagpili... so ngayon tahimik na talaga siya, wala nang gulo sa heaven...

sa mundo ng para sa isang PUSO ni audrey... hindi maaring TAYONG DALAWA jr and dave...

I agree with most of the comments regarding the ending of tayong dalawa.
This is terrible. How could you remember an ending kung puro pahirap nararamdaman ng main character? Very tragic ito. Gusto ng writers na magend ung story in a different way, pero this is not worth it. Because of the sacrifices that Jr and Audrey have given sana man lang ngbunga ng masaya and mahabang kaligayahan. This is really insane! Sana patayin na lang c Jr din..dahil ung line naman nila hindi pwdng dalawa d b?..cge itira nyo na lang c dave..walang kwentang ending.

We love u stil KIMERALD..sayang lang..sana kung maganda lang ang ending ng soap na to, sinasabi ko pa sa sarili ko forever syang magstay sa kin...but not anymore...naka nga I won't buy na rin ung the rest of the volumes ng DVD.

true!mortality rate is high in these cases, but wouldn't it be more realistic if Audrey was not discharged from the hospital just yet to be properly evaluated and treated. As far as I know, complicated pregnancies such as these need extensive medical intervention and would think of other options, no matter how trivial those might be, and present it to the patient even before childbirth. The writers made it look like a case to moderate to severe valve stenosis as evidenced by symptoms of starting cardiac failure and I was inclined to think that the writers would also thought of "what ifs". But anyway it's their prerogative and this scenario would have extended the storyline. (I think, everyboby from ABS are anxious to start Lovers - which I don't particularly care about anyway. Don't get me wrong, I loved her mom and dad but she is not them. I think she'd be better in another line of business. - my personal opinion).... If I was the family, I would have sued the hospital for neglect.... just a thought.......but again that's just me........

maybe I was just hopeful for Audrey and JR to get their "........and they lived happily ever after".......well maybe in the real life soon..........LUV U BOTH.

I still have to watch the final episode of TD for curiosity sake. It won't add to the ratings anyway, coz am gonna watch in youtube. We don't have TFC in TCI...I am one of those fans who are disappointed of Audrey's death in this episode.
ABS shld have made a poll survey of how the story ends...marami ng pakulo ang Ch 2 about voting or poll surveys for kimerald fans. This time bakit di nila dinaan sa botohan; at least they have the idea of how the viewers would like the story to end. Even if di nila sabihin agad ang result ng survey. Basta malaman lang nila kung ano ang gusto ng viewers.

I believe the original writer wanted to stick to the original story line with the protagonists being JR and Audrey ending up together for life and the antagonist Dave goes as any third wheel in the story without the lady in contention but no...it seems the storyline changed midstream...now the major characters are reshuffled and Audrey ended being chopped to make what - Tayong Dalawa as JR and Dave?

Can't get the logic of the changed storyline; the new writer has been very erratic and freer with the flow of the story and it seems that justice is not served here and whatever redeeming value we all expect is not there...Ingrid is still on the loose and she was the one who ordered the killing of Audrey ending with the death of Lola Gets; Ramon is still doing his merry thing up to the last day of the teleserye as if he is a major character when he is not...Dave, I don't know...he with his lying ways getting all the dusting and prettifying, perceived to be good and 'mabango' now...no matter what the critics say and where the ratings go...JR who has been self-sacrificing all his life is not given his due and is robbed of his happiness in the end and for what?

TD as a series could have been better...with the bad punished, the good rewarded...so that we who see all these injustices in real life can at least 'escape for 30 minutes everyday'and feel good and warm inside in the end and heave a sigh of relief that the good guys win in the end even in just a teleserye...all I can say the makers of TD are sadists and masochistic...a big booooo to you!!!!!!

We don't watch a teleserye to be martyrs; we are already that in one way or another in real life; we watch especially this particular teleserye to be entertained and it is a bonus that our favorites are the stars; apparently you ignored our sentiments...you better learn a lesson from this experience as we Kim and Gerald's fans have very long memories.

Tayong Dalawa is a very good teleserye that got destroyed in the second to the last episode. Shame on the writer, directors.

ABS-CBN take note. You are only as good as the number of your viewers...you do not have the monopoly of shows or network. My husband who has watched the show because of me agrees with me wholeheartedly.

I don't really cry in any show or movies but this episide really made me cry not for a minutes for the entire episode. It's like I was there or is happening to me I can really feel J.R.'s pain of the love of his life, with all the trials and sacrifices they did, these two characters should had a happy ending not just a wedding and the birth of their first child but it should have ended happy, Audrey dying was not relevant to the remaining story line since Dave has started to accept that Audrey is with JR and the only thing that needed fixing is really Marlene and her 3 sons, there was no point of Audrey dying....I really hated what the writers did...they did this for shock value, to be talked about which is horrible, for 9 long months viewers waited for a happy ending for Audrey and JR but they couldn't even give that one.

I dedicate this song to JR and Audrey, I love this song when they played this song in Maging Sino Ka Man when they also killed off one of their main character...what's with ABS like to kill main characters gggrrr...

Guys I know the ending is not what we anticipated. I think the writer did a consistent ending. Audrey had a heart problem because she had a difficult life growing up. Her mom passed away and left her to raise baby Robert. Anybody who is stressed out will end up with heart problem, stroke or either get crazy like Ingrid. Before Audrey gave birth, her and JR were praying and just from what she asked God to "spare her a little time" to hold and kiss the baby. I thought she was going to die while she's at the hospital. Also, due the to time limit to end the show, writer kind of rushes things and they don't have enough time to show us the happy life of JR and Audrey. We are upset because all we see is Audrey's hard life through out the show and JR always the giving person and always put himself last. People posted comments here, they kind of figure out that Dave will die and give his heart to Audrey. This ending already happened in other soap opera. Deither Ocampo gave his heart to Caludine Barretto. Some people can relate to Audrey's death because it happens in real life = with two people loved each other so much and end up one had to go unexpected.

It's so sadd! I always watch it here in Cali. UGH! I love kim&gerald<3 So cute together. WHY DOES SHE HAVE TO DIE D; ?!

After this episode, it really makes me wonder how this serye will end. With Audrey's death how can it be a happy ending? the writers must be really good if the ending would still put a smile in all the viewers faces and would see the justification of her death.
All the characters have done an excellent job and for me they have executed their part accordingly.

Yes, I agree with most of you that this is a VERY disappointing episode because Audry died. Jr and Audrey were meant for each other since they were kids. Jr thought he was going to lose the love of his life to his own brother because they were "supposedly" married, but luckily it wasn't true. JR was happy that he finally marries his only love and now she's gone?!?!!? WHY??? Doesn't seem fair! I know, life isn't fair which makes it more realistic. Still, I wished for a different ending.... Also, there's still more unanswered questions.....there's so much more I need to say, but I'm just losing my train of thought because I'm still in shock and heartbroken for JR because Audrey is gone.

I still have to watch the last episode. Some are saying that there is a happy ending and I hope that is true, but how could there be?? We saw they buried her. The only thing I can think of is possibly this was all a dream somehow. Of course we all hoped and wished at the ending it would be Kimerald happily ever after, but you know, wouldn't that be too predictable??? Have you noticed that most of the episodes were unpredictable. So, who knows in tomorrows last episode we'll find out. If it's still true that she died, then we have to accept that. It will still be memorable because it frustrated us!
I still have to give the writers and directors props for this teleserye. It will probably be the teleserye of the year. This show has helped Kimerald work w/ the greatest actors and actresses, it has helped them mature more, gain more acting skills, fulfill their dream roles, and get closer with each other. I do hope they both win an award for this show. They have shown they can perform any role given to them. I wish the best for Kimerald and this show will help boost their careers. More power to KIMERALD!! I LOVE YOU!!

This teleserye has a lot of flaws! After watching Tayong Dalawa, I swear, I don't want to watch anything created by the writers and director of TD! I've seen the ending, TAKE NOTE ABS-CBN, I'm not used to watch teleserye, but for today it focus on the 3 boys, sooooooooooo booooring and we were not even touched or cried with the scene, without AUDREY, this TD has no viewers, Why did you put her as the main cast on the ADVERTISEMENT TARPAULIN , when she even died. Its like fooling the viewers, so they will keep on following every night. KIM, we are praying for you, " remember you cannot put a good man down" You have given so much support to GERALD in TD, thru you, his talent had "SHINE". Just be positive, I know you really love him, and its for both of you. I hope next time ABS/SC will give them projects as the "BIDA" all their fans around the world is asking for, including me. Todays episode, parang wala lang, kung pinahaba niyo pa, talagang walang manood, kanina lang, since we want to give our support to KIMERALD, napilitan kami, pero its like a food that you don't want to eat dahil walang taste. Ganoon ang ending kanina, walang IMPACT. Unlike yesterday bumaha ang mga tears namin. Please more KIMERALD projects without somebody na gagamit sa kanila. For me the TD ending is more appreciative if the ending is all on audrey's death. kesa sa episode today that obviously na pilit pinasisikat si jake cuenca. i said this coz am discontented of what they did to kim & ge, and the time & money i spent hoping for a HAPPY ENDING for Audrey & JR.

Seeing the TD ending, walang kabuhay-buhay, it doesn't leave an IMPACT to the viewers. If you have extended it for a week, I'm sure nobody will waste their time watching. Kanina lang, walang kakwenta-kwenta. Won't watch teleserye anymore just waste of time. Ending is no good at all. Yong title niyo, maling-mali. Parang niloloko niyo ang mga viewers niyo. this is my first time to watch wholeheartedly a filipino soap and abs at that just because of kg.i've followed it since it started jan. 19, 2009. i was astonished at the beginning, medyo fast phasing ang story. after several extensions and the story got out of sinc though, i still anticipate everynight to watch just bec of kg. now after so many characters killed off, despite jr and dave supposedly brilliant pma careers turned troubled civilians, despite all those gruesome family conflicts, despite all those bombings, kidnappings, tortures, kidney transplants, fake marriage, i still glued to the tv set hoping against hope that at the end, everything will go ok, everybody will have his/her due, everybody will be happy after all those issues be resolved...that finally when audrey accepted to marry jr, the two will live happily ever after, but no. it seems the good will not be rewarded, they just fade away.. so sad for an ending... even if marlene had finally had her wish of a mabuo ang pamilya.

i congratulate kim and gerald for their outstanding performance in td. they matured definitely here emotionally, 'physically', professionally, artistically and quite financially, bec. so many endorsements came their way, not to mention magazine covers, etc. We all love kg that's why sometimes we can't separate them from the roles they play. they just sink in into their characters, such that we cry with them in every scene, we laugh with them when they're happy, and we get angry when they're pilloried.. congrats kimerald, we'll always be here for you. only you make us happy, nobody else comes close.. until now i feel heartbroken with audrey being killed off, she didn't deserve it.

kim and gerald, next year, it's not gonna be best love team anymore, but best actor and best actress, you can count on that.

how i'd wish na their next movie will be a not so dramatic romantic comedy, meron ba nun. td was such a tension filled series, i cannot bear another heavy drama for them. go light for a change. pa cute ulit. ibalik ang kiliggggggggg

AT SI RAMON" ...ay! hindi ba yon ang title?!! akala ko kse yun ang title. lol. kasi in the end, silang 3 ang naging bida. si jr. si dave. si ramon. hay. sayang naman. dapat umpisa pa lang, picture na ni coco ang ginamit sa mga poster at publicity photos ng teleserye na ito. niloko lang ng abs-cbn ang mga nagtyagang nanood at tumangkilik sa show! ginamit lang nila yung mga pasingit-singit na romantic episodes between kim and ge to draw the viewers to their tv sets every night, naetsapwera naman yung character ni audrey in the end. bravo abs-cbn! husay nyo talaga! sobra! sana bumagsak ang ratings ng lahat ng mga susunod nyo pa na mga teleserye para maintindihan nyo kung gaano kahalaga ang opinion ng mga manonood. sorry. kahit lab namin si kim, lipat na kami sa gma!!!

Anyway...my thoughts on TAYONG DALAWA.

The finale is Audrey's death, period, tragic but what can we do, it's over.
The last episode(the very much hyped up finale) is just a recap of what has not been resolved yet. In short,viewers can ignore it and it does not take anything away from the show.

I really do not want to slam the writers for making the ending unconventional because,like it or not fans, except for that 'Ho-hum' of an ending, they gave us a hell of a ride especially in the last 25 nights or so.

And because of everyone's disgust over Audrey's death, many overlooked how Gerald has finally emerged as a great actor. Somehow, he has made a 360 degree turn to better himself. Or perhaps his performance was outstanding we no longer noticed he was just acting?

Truly, TD showcased Gerald and Jake more than it did Kim. It is blatantly obvious that Kim was shortchanged and yet she did what she could with the little challenge they gave her. When the initial teaser came out, I already had the impression that this was going to be a Jake and Gerald show. Little did I know Coco would shine too or isn't that expected?

I wouldn't say that Kim was used to boost up Gerald's career. Tayong Dalawa was for both of them to shine, and tough luck, Gerald did. Kim felt short. Hence, Gerald has a solo project. I like Kim for Gerald but it's time for them to go on their own which leads me to these questions...

How would Kim and Gerald top this one? What is left for them? It wouldn't seem realistic to go back to teenybopper roles since they've already transitioned to adult roles.

I somehow sensed that you are a little dissatisfied with Kim's performance in TD--if you notice Kim is such a great buffer for Gerald...his dramatic moments come to the fore in his scenes with Kim e.g., the prison visit; the court scene where Audrey testified; the death scene; the video which prepped him for the high drama at the funeral. Kim is a trigger to Gerald's emotional pressure points. Kim has reached a depth and subtlety in her acting that even Kris Aquino congratulated her for it at the Buzz. Also, Kim and Gerald projected such romance and great love in their supposed to be intimate scenes together that a no. of viewers termed it as the " most romantic love scene ever" beating even that of Bea and Sam in their latest movie And I Love You So.

Gerald and Kim have come a long way...TD is their defining moment. I go for a Kim and Gerald tandem for years to come. They draw the best from each other and this certainly spells bankability and the win-win situation the producer and the consumer meaning us go for.

Not to forget, Gerald got his Tiagong Akyat solo from his action prowess which impressed management and even the Revillas. Kim who is very sporty despite her slight build (from PBB days till now) is trainable. Kimerald can even be the next Brangelina a la Mr. and Mrs. Smith--there is no limit to what these two can do...romantic comedies, mystery, etc. The future is limitless as far as possibilities are concerned. This is what I believe and my response to your query, " What now Kim and Gerald? ".

i agree with sept 26 11:36 that this is a gerald/jake show and perhaps add in coco, maybe bec. kim's role has not been given the focus that it deserved, being the protagonist in two brothers love. however i also agree with 9/26 1:51 pm that when kim and gerald are together in a scene, they really bring out the best in each other....i already have an inkling that this will be a tragedy when they did the wedding scene way before the supposed end of the series... weddings connotes happy ending and reserved for last, but not in td... it was the calm before the storm.

they say palabas lang yan. but why are we so affected by audrey's death, esp. the kimerald fans??? why are we so really affected emotionally. we don't feel this way with other teleseryes but not this one. kg has been a part of our lives for more than 3 years, it just doesn't feel right that td has not lived up to our expectations... but we have to move on. sana magparamdam naman sila habang wala pang movie in the next 2 months.. and i really commend gerald for going out of his way to try to rescue his neighbors without concern for his safety... truly noteworthy, he's not even thinking he's a celebrity, just like a human being like you and me.

the only good that came out of this teleserye is the coming out of coco martin from indie to mainstream.. he is now a household name even exacting the same tili from people who watched the recent bench fashion show in sm moa. now he has several projects in abs lined up. he's now the new kid in the block, the new favorite of abs, sino na naman kaya ang naechapwera sa mga stable of artists in star magic.
